Website and digital design for health nonprofits and advocacy organizations

We craft emotionally resonant websites, donation flows that convert, and member portals your community will actually use.

THE SITUATION

Four audiences, one homepage

You are a communications director or a program lead. Your website has to serve a family the day after a diagnosis, a donor deciding whether you are credible, a member looking for the portal, and someone trying to register for the walk. Four audiences, one homepage, and a budget that came from a grant with a timeline on it.

Your donation page loses people at the second step and you are not sure why. Your event registration is a third-party form that looks nothing like the rest of your site. Your member portal was built years ago and your community has told you it is hard to use, especially the older members.

Your last redesign was done by a volunteer or an agency that did not understand your community, and you are still living with it.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

For nonprofits, every friction point is a missed transaction.

Every abandonment is donation that does not arrive. Every confusing step in event registration is a participant who does not show up. Every family that cannot find the resource they came for is the mission failing quietly.

Trust is the whole thing. Someone deciding whether to donate, register, or share a diagnosis is deciding whether to believe you. Confusing structure and stock photography of smiling strangers work against that.

UX FOR NONPROFITS

Here’s how we help, specifically.

  • Websites that hold emotional weight without manipulating. Plain language, obvious next steps, and no requirement to understand your org chart. We write and structure for someone reading in the hardest week of their life.

  • Donation flows that convert. We test the actual giving path, find where people abandon it, and redesign the steps. Recurring gift options, honest processing fee handling, and mobile giving that works on a phone in a parking lot.

  • Event and campaign registration. Walk registration, team fundraising, and campaign pages that match your site instead of looking like a bolted-on vendor form.

  • Member and community portals. Designed for a membership that spans a thirty-year age range and a wide range of comfort with technology.

  • Inclusive content and accessibility. Vision, motor, hearing, and cognitive differences accounted for as a baseline. If you have accessibility obligations, we design to them rather than retrofitting.

  • Multiple audiences without dilution. Clear paths for families, members, donors, clinicians, and press, so nobody wades through content written for someone else.

COMMUNITY

We understand the space.

Our team has personal connections to brain health and aging. Some of us have been caregivers. Some are facing the genes that cause the disease. One of our founders serves on the board of Youngtimers, a nonprofit supporting families affected by a rare genetic form of early onset Alzheimer's disease.

We have sat in the rooms where these decisions get made, we’ve been listening when the bad new is broken, and we’ve been on the receiving end of well-intentioned messaging that got it wrong. That is why we do this work.

EXPERIENCE

How you know you can trust us.

  • We have concentrated experience with nonprofits and disease advocacy. We built the digital home for Youngtimers, including the member experience, donation flow, and Spanish-language experience. Rare Remy, a rare disease nonprofit, raised $90,000 in the seven months following our work on their platform. We’ve also worked with impressive nonprofits such as the American Board of Radiology, Harvard, St. Edwards University, and The University of Texas.

  • We’re a vetted member of the AgeTech Collaborative from AARP, the global network of innovators, investors, and industry leaders working to make aging easier.

  • Our reputation is established. 4.9 stars on Clutch, and 159 verified client reviews. Clients cite project management most often: clear scope, weekly updates, and no surprises on timeline or budget.

  • We’ve been around since 2012. Family-owned, majority woman-owned, and owner-operated, with a fully U.S.-based team.
