Fractional Product Management

Prioritize the work, and break it down so you can tackle the key parts first.

The difference between chaos and productivity on a product team is often a great product manager.

New product teams are often bogged down under the weight of possibilities–inspiration overload.

A fractional product manager can come in and help you make sense of all the “could do”s on the table, partnering closely with UX, dev, and leadership to identify a plan everyone’s rallied behind.

Our product management process

Our fractional product management engagements overlap a lot with the steps we take for UX work, making them great complements to one another.

At a high level, our process includes:

  • Discovery: Who are the key users, and what do they need? What are the main goals of the project?

  • Strategy Development: How will we reach these goals? This is where we plan the best path forward.

  • Roadmapping: What will the timeline and milestones be? This involves creating a roadmap to visualize how and when the project objectives will be achieved.

  • Work Intake: What is the priority of each new request? Ongoing attention is required to ensure that all incoming work aligns with the project's goals and fits into the roadmap.

With these steps, your team can move from big ideas to great products efficiently and effectively. We make sure every part of the process is aimed at meeting user needs and achieving project goals.

“We had a quick communication cadence and they were always available via Slack and would send loom updates often. Honestly, they were a great and responsive team to work with; it was very refreshing.”
— COO, AI-Powered Education Company
